Nice application, unreliable data
The application has evolved nicely since I first purchased it. I particularly like the new features added to version 3.0 - including the ability to zoom and pan using familiar iPhone gestures and the addition of cross-hairs showing the currently location. These enchancements show that the developer listens to his customers.
On the downside, Ive found that there are occasionally issues with the camera feeds, at least here in Vancouver. Over the Christmas holidays some of the feeds werent updated for days rendering the application useless during this time. Im guessing that the developer doesnt have any control over the reliability of the camera feeds - I recommend that he include a disclaimer in the description of the application indicating that they cant guarantee up-to-date images.
Overall, though, I think this application is worth $1.99 - especially since it covers so many cities. Most of the time the cameras delivers reasonably up-to-date photos (within 15 minutes of the current times). For those times that it doesnt theres always the good old fashioned traffic reports on the radio.
